Nationals, Records, new Officials chair PDF Print E-mail

Nationals results are linked in the Results section. Niagara placed 14th out of the Regional Clubs competing at the meet. There were over 20 Niagara LMSC records broken at the meet! Congratulations to all competitors and record setters.

The short course yards season for USMS Top Ten officially concludes on May 31st. The Records have been updated and should all be current. Please contact the Records chair to note any corrections. Records and times achieved at the Skaneateles meet in June will appear the following season.

Our next announcement is that George McVey has stepped down as Officials chair. George has volunteered for well over 20 years as an Officials chair and as a Registrar (prior to John Pilger). The Board thanks George on behalf of all Niagara members and we wish him the best.

A Big Thank You to George for all the years of support and work - Niagara chair,Officials chair and officiating, co-chair of LC National Championships in Buffalo (1994), Registrar, and, as I recall, news letter editor, collator and mailer, and still a competitor in the pool!
