We're excited to share a sanctioned Open Water event is back in Niagara LMSC!

The Finger Lakes Open Water Swim Festival offers 0.5, 1, 2, and 10 mile race options held in Seneca Lake, Watkins Glen, NY. This event supports The Humane Society of Schuyler County, Friends of the Horseheads Animal Shelter, and the Southern Tier Police Canine Association. We hope you consider swimming for those great causes! The FLOWS Festival is the brainchild of Bridgette Hobart, who was the first documented swimmer to successfully complete the full length of each of the 9 swimmable NY Finger Lakes, non-stop and under MSF regulations in a single swim season. She accomplished the feat back in 2015 and is the meet director for the festival.

The 10 mile event will occur on Saturday, September 21, while the shorter distances will be on Sunday, September 22. Check the website for more information: https://fingerlakesopenwaterswimming.com/.
