Ithaca will be hosting their first LCM meet this summer on Saturday, July 14th. As many of you know, they are a long-time host of a short course yards event in December. This facility was completed just last summer and those that attended the December meet will attest to its quality. This is a rare opportunity for a LCM meet in Niagara, so we hope you will come out to join the fun! Head on over to the calendar for more details, or click this link: Ithaca LCM meet info page.

For anyone needing accommodations, I would recommend checking out the Cornell University Travel Portal. The links on the left menu detail the hotels as well as bed & breakfasts in the Ithaca area.

You can make a weekend out of the visit as Ithaca rests at the bottom tip of Cayuga Lake. The Cayuga Wine Trail has over a dozen wineries as well as other attractions along the way!

The meet results for the Binghamton University Masters Swim Meet have been posted on our site as well as uploaded to Please go to our Results section for more information.

There were three LMSC records broken (a fourth is posted on the record breakers sheet, but it is from an Adirondack swimmer, therefore ineligible). At the conclusion of the Short Course Yards season, the yards records file (pdf) will be updated.

Some photos taken during the meet were added to our Gallery. If you would like to send in photos for any masters event, please contact the webmaster.

Colonies Zone Championships are taking place next weekend in Virginia. Entries are due by tomorrow, April 6th, at midnight. There are over 25 Niagara LMSC athletes already entered in the meet, most of them from BUMS.

USMS Nationals are in North Carolina at the end of the month. Entries are closed for that competition. There are 10 Niagara swimmers registered for that meet.

Good luck to everyone swimming this month!
